Industrial Lead – Focus on R&D and Product Development
Aimpoint is growing, and this is your opportunity to join an exciting development journey! Do you want to work closely with R&D, drive product changes, and ensure new solutions are successfully implemented from development to industrialization?
We are now looking for an Industrial Lead with a strong connection to product development and industrialization – a key role where you act as the link between R&D and “volume production…” .
About the Role
As an Industrial Lead, you will work at the intersection of development and production, focusing on driving product changes, coordinating activities, and ensuring that new solutions are ready for implementation.
You will play a central role in:
Driving and coordinating industrialization of new product and change projects
Ensuring solutions can be industrialized and function in production
Creating structure, progress, and clarity in cross-functional projects
The role involves close collaboration with R&D, production, quality, and procurement, where you act as a central hub across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Product and Project Work
· Drive product changes and development activities with a strong industrialization focus, ensuring scalable, high‑quality and highly producible solutions through efficient planning and coordination of testing, prototyping and pilot builds.
· Follow up on verification and ensure smooth implementation of new solutions in production.
· Drive and coordinate technical changes and material topics together with R&D and Sourcing.
Industrialization
· Ensure developed solutions function in real production environments and follow up on pilot builds and production readiness.
· Maintain and develop system structures and configurations with a strong focus on accurate and reliable data.
· Support the transition from development to serial production.
Coordination and Leadership
· Align activities between R&D, Production, and Quality, acting as a central link between Operations and R&D.
· Compile project status, risks, and next steps, and lead follow‑ups and decision forums.
Continuous Improvement
· Drive improvements in ways of working, processes, information flows, and meeting structures.
· Contribute to lessons learned and continuous development.
Background and Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, production engineering, or a similar field.
· Strong understanding of industrialization and the transition from R&D to production.
· Solid technical understanding and interest in product development.
· Knowledge of production economics and supply chain is an advantage.
Meritorious:
Experience with ERP Systems (Dynamics 365)
Knowledge of FMEA, DFM, and production logistics
Experience in fine mechanical assembly or automation

Additional Information
You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, and are comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
The salary range for an Industrial Lead is SEK 43,000–50,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
