System Study Engineer
The opportunity
The selectivity study engineer has a responsibility to understand technical requirements for auxiliary power system networks and ensure that the station loads are running at optimal level without unnecessary tripping, thereby ensuring safety of the end equipment and HVDC station as a whole.
How you’ll make an impact
- Design, review and modelling of system study for medium voltage switchgear and Auxiliary transformer/distribution transformer including breaker selection and sizing, CT sizing, MCB/Fuse sizing and cable sizing.
- Design, review and modelling of system study for low voltage AC & DC electrical systems including breaker selection and sizing, CT sizing, MCB/Fuse sizing and cable size verification from source to feeder end.
- Perform short circuit analysis, load flow analysis and arc flash study.
- Perform protective relay settings calculation and preparation of setting list & coordination report.
- Preparation of MV & LV power system study report, arc flash report etc.
- Provide applied engineering and technical consultation for internal and external customers in the area of system study.
Your background
- You have at least a university degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience from a comparable position
- To successfully take on this position, you probably have experience from supporting team members in an environment with continuously upcoming opportunities and challenges.
- You’ll assess essential aspects of the business and make informed choices in line with the business requirements.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Swedish is meritorious.
- High level of time management skills for you self.
