Centralized Crane / Heavy Lift Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Heavy Lifting Manager to oversee and manage all heavy lifting operations for our industrial project in Sweden. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient execution of lifting activities, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all heavy lifting operations on-site.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish Work Environment Authority regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop lifting plans.
• Manage and train lifting teams, including operators, riggers, and signallers.
• Inspect lifting equipment and ensure proper maintenance and certification.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor and report on lifting activities, ensuring timely and safe completion of tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Lifting Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Certification in Safe Lifting and relevant heavy lifting operations (e.g., AFS 2006:6).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience with industrial projects in Sweden or similar environments.
• Familiarity with Swedish Work Environment Authority guidelines and ergonomic risk assessment tools.
