As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing facility operations and managing service partnerships. From maintaining buildings and emergency generators to overseeing cleaning services and outdoor lighting, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and sustainably.
Your focus will be on strategic outsourcing, procurement, and compliance, making sure safety standards are met while driving cost-efficient solutions. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help create a reliable, high-performing, and future-ready workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & Optimize Service Agreements – Manage contracts for building maintenance, emergency generators, cleaning, elevators, lighting, and more, ensuring seamless operations.
- Drive Procurement & Compliance – Negotiate contracts, oversee procurement strategies, and ensure all services meet safety and industry standards.
- Collaborate & Problem-Solve – Act as the key contact for service partners, resolving issues and ensuring smooth, effective teamwork.
- Champion Sustainability – Integrate eco-friendly, cost-effective solutions into infrastructure maintenance.
- Ensure Performance & Training – Monitor service quality, provide guidance to stakeholders, and maintain documentation for accountability.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with expertise in maintenance operations.
- Industry Experience – 3+ years in heavy industry maintenance, with experience in service contracts, procurement, and matrix organizations.
- Proven background in large-scale manufacturing (50+ employees) and familiarity with ISO standards (9001/14001/45001/50001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in maintenance processes, Office Suite, digital tools, and procurement contracts.
- Very good English communication skills (Swedish is a plus) and a role model for safety culture.
